By donating or volunteering, you help provide many of the amenities that make a home away from home for a transplant patient.
Help Us Grow
Our occupancy rate is 100% and we have been in the unfortunate situation of turning down families on a regular basis. Unfortunately, unless a patient has confirmed housing, their transplant surgery cannot be scheduled. With both UW Medical Center and Seattle Children's Hospital serving as regional transplant centers, we expect this level of demand for housing to continue.
Where We're Headed
Transplant House is committed to increasing support from corporations and foundations so that we can add new homes and make improvements to our current homes to best serve the needs of our transplant community.
Our long-term goal is to purchase our own building, which will offer a long-term cost savings to both Transplant House and those we serve.
We are working to expand our volunteer corps to provide family support and to assist with organizational and fundraising efforts and are committed to continuing outreach within the organ transplant community in the Pacific Northwest.
